KEEP IT REGULAR.
It is important that you are eliminating daily during your daily cleanse. Your digestive system can be surprised by the sudden lack of bulky, solid food, and slow down its elimination. Keep it moving by using any of the following techniques:
- Take two tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil at night before bed.
- Try magnesium supplements like Natural Calm, Mag 07, and calcium-magnesium capsules. They provide a non-stimulating boost to elimination.
- Castor oil is a time-tested way of keeping things moving.
- Use a natural laxative. Your local health-food store will sell several in tablet or even tea form.
*Please note that regular use of stimulant laxatives, including natural versions with senna or cascara, is to be avoided after your cleanse.
